CAN YOU HELP? Mandie from Brisbane asks:  I have a beautiful writing desk that has the following inscription on it.. 'Presented to Mr Allan Salmond by the members of the Peterculter Musical Association and friends as a mark of esteem on the 15th June 1883' It has intrigued me for years who this desk belonged. Can anyone shed any light on the Musical Association or Mr Allan Salmond? (see Guestbook)
