CULTER THEATRE CLUB
CULTER Theatre Club is pleased to announce that it will be performing a musical extravaganza entitled 'Around the World in 80 Minutes' on 17,18 and 19 June in the Village Hall.
The musical will feature music, comedy and dance from well-loved shows with settings as far apart as London to the USA (via India). Based loosely on a tale of misunderstanding,
missed trains, boats and planes, mistaken identity and lost tickets, will the star-crossed lovers ever find their way through the resulting mayhem? That's a well-guarded secret. If you want to know the answer, book a seat for either the 17, 18 or 19 June and find out.
Rehearsals are going well and the club is delighted to welcome new members to both junior and adult sections.
Looking to the Future
The club is looking to expand on the number and type of productions it puts on each year and would like to add popular plays to its repertoire. Theatre Club 'Fun Days' is one idea being considered, with a view to finding people who, though they may feel they cannot sing or dance, would like to try an acting role.
Discussions are very much underway as to how the club can achieve these aims. More information on this will be announced once plans have been finalised.
