CULTER SCHOOL PTA
THE MAIN fundraising event of the year, the Silent Auction/Noisy Fun Day, was held on 20th March and proved to be very successful. For many of the organisers planning a silent auction was a 'first' for them but everything ran very smoothly. Although some people said they missed having a rummage through lots of sale items, others were intrigued by the silent bidding and got quite excited at the final flurry of bidding before it closed at 2.30pm. We think most people enjoyed the change from the usual spring sale.
The auction and raffle owe much of their success to the shops and businesses in and around Culter who loyally support our fundraising efforts every year by donating gifts and prizes. Thank you very much - your generosity is very much appreciated. Thanks to everyone who donated items or pledges for auction and to those who came along on the day and spent lots of cash not least the children for trying to win all those Easter eggs!
We are now looking forward to Culter Gala on 29th May where we are hoping to run a karaoke stand - so come along and have a go.
