300 CLUB UPDATE we have now had 6 draws and have a total of 130 members but its not too late for £6 you can be in the next 6 draws so join now the more members the bigger the prize and the more you help the hall. This month winner was Pam McBain winning £65.
HOGMANAY DISCO Tickets for this years hogmanay disco will be on sale from Monday 10th November from the office at the village hall adults £8 kids £5. We still need some people to help on the night and with clearing up ( we do it a few days later!) if we can't get some more help with this it is unlikely to carry on in the future.
"ALADDIN" Tickets are also now on sale for Culter theatre clubs annual panto, Aladdin. on from Wednesday 3rd Dec till Saturday 6th at 7.30pm with a matinee at 2pm on Saturday. tickets available from the hall.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS The Christmas lights switch on will be happening at the hall again this year on Saturday 22nd of November the fun starts at 4pm with entertainment and plenty fun for all the family.
PLAYGROUP ANNUAL FAYRE
Culter Community Playgroup are holding their annual Christmas Fayre on
Sat 15th Nov 2008 from 10am to 1pm in Peterculter Village Hall. We have
loads of stalls such as The Body Shop, Usbourne Books, Stardust Clothing
plus homebakes, toys & books, lucky dip, raffle and lots lots more. A
fun festive morning to be had with coffee & mince pies or some hot soup. All
are welcome to come along!!
It's a great morning
out & our main fund-raiser of the year. Pass it on to friends & family
the more the merrier. Also if you have any toys or children's books you
wish to donate please hand into Culter Village hall on Fri 14th Nov
between 7pm - 8pm.
YOUR VILLAGE HALL
One of the main objectives of the Community Association is to help provide as wide a range of social, educational and recreational activities in Culter Village Hall as possible.
Organisation and management of the hall is carried out by an executive committee. The committee is made up of representatives of the user groups and the local community as well as members of staff.
The committee meets once a month. If you would like more information about the committee or indeed like to join, then please contact the Hall Administrator Alison Skinner Tel. 734371 or call in to the hall.
Culter and District Community Association is a charitable and voluntary organisation instituted in 1947 to operate Culter Village Hall which is owned by the residents of Peterculter.
Culter Village Hall is totally self-financing and receives no help financially or otherwise from any Local Authority.
