HERITAGE HALL

IT HAS been really encouraging to hear such positive comments from Hall users and visitors about the high standard of our new toilets and other improvements. It has cost the Trust a great deal of money but it is considered that it was a job worth doing properly. It is hoped to start work on the refurbishment of the kitchen in the very near future.

Our resident music group, Scotch Broth, are planning to hold a Celtic Evening on Saturday 12th June. Their last concert was a great success and we look forward to good support from the community. Details of the agreed date will be circulated on posters in due course.

To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of The Heritage Hall, there will be a special evening for Trust members on Friday 21 May at 7.30pm. There will be some wine and nibbles and entertainment will include Susan Simpson's fiddle group.

The Heritage Hall has been here since 1906. During that time it has served not only as a much used Church Hall and also used by a variety of community organisations and it is the Trust's intention that the Hall will continue to be widely used. We would very much welcome daytime use of the Hall - remember we do have good car parking facilities.

We look forward to seeing you at Heritage Hall - we serve teas and coffees with delicious home baking every Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4p.m.
