CULTER GARDENS
COMPETITION AND FLOWER SHOW
ALL YOU keen gardeners out there: are you working hard to grow beautiful flowers and lush green lawns in your plot? We are looking for people to enter Culter's own annual Gardens Competition, held in the first week of August. Contact Catherine Lacy or Alison Skinner for further details. There will also be awards for the most colourful containers, whether tubs, baskets or planters, and you don't even need to submit your name for those.
The Flower Show will be held on Saturday 21st August at 2pm in the Culter Village Hall. If you'd like to enter your favourite houseplant, cut flowers, homegrown vegetables, cakes or knitted jumpers, please call Catherine or Alison. Or, do come along on the day to admire the talent of your neighbours. The results of the Gardens competition will also be announced then.
