Peterculter Parish Church Open Day held on Saturday 13th May.

Peterculter Parish Church had a very successful weekend when they threw open the doors of their refurbished building for the first time. A large number of visitors came to view the church on the Saturday and the May sunshine allowed people to enjoy teas and coffees outdoors. |
| On the Sunday, extra chairs had
to be brought in as a larger congregation than normal enjoyed worshipping
in the new sanctuary. Many visitors also came along on the Sunday evening
to a special songs of praise service. Well over £1000 was raised for the
church chair fund over the weekend. The chairs are now expected to arrive
on May 30th.
The response from members and visitors to the refurbishment has been very positive, with many commenting on the brighter and more welcoming atmosphere.
