Superleague. Buchanhaven Hearts 0 Culter 7 (at Raernoss Park, Peterhead) Half Time: 0-1. Culter
Scorers: Ryan Stott (43, 65, 75, 89 mins), Martin Shand (67 and 76 mins) and Adam Wilson (54 mins) Saturday 27 March 2010.

Culter produced a polished second half performance to hammer the Peterhead team. it was the same sad successive score for Buchanhaven Hearts having gone down 7-0 to Banks o’ Dee last week at Spain Park.

The away team kicked off into a strong wind and Hearts had the first chance when Cunningham headed over Donaldson’s corner. Taylor then tried his luck from 25 yards but his shot flew past the upright then Cunningham’s diving header from Donaldson’s cross went wide in 26 minutes. A minute later Culter’s first shot on target saw Smith’s curling shot from just inside the box come back off the crossbar. Barbour then beat the Culter offside trap but fluffed the ball past the post. Youngson’s lob just cleared the bar before Caider’s cross to Smith produced a one handed save from Gaff. From the resultant corner Gaff cleared the ball to the edge of the box where Ryan STOTT hammered the ball low into the net in the 43 minute. Barbour had a great chance to level the game just on the half time whistle but his turn and volley just cleared the bar. Half Time: 0 — 1.
McBain’s cross was nearly turned into the Hearts net by defender McLean but the second goal wasn’t long in coming. Culter was awarded a free kick 30 yards out in 54 minutes. Adam WILSON stepped up to send a powerful shot straight to Gaff but the home ‘keeper could only fumble the ball into the net. Youngson and Shand both had chances but Culter increased their lead in the 65th minute. Gaff miskicked his clearance only as far as Ryan STOTT who outstripped his marker before placing the ball home. Two minutes later Wyness came off the bench and with his first touch squared the bat! to Martin SHAND to score from close range. !n 75 minutes Ryan STOTT claimed his hat trick scoring from 10 yards after neat work from Wyness. A minute later Martin SHAND produced a great finish from 20 yards to make it six. It was all one way traffic as McBain and Shand missed chances before a Wyness header hit the post and the ball fell to Ryan STOTT who fired home an unstoppable shot to claim his fourth goal in 89 minutes.
