Formartine Fixture Frozen

It was no surprise when NRJFA Acting President Dennis Ewing declared the frozen Crombie Park unplayable after his early morning inspection.

Formartine United have not been doing well this season, failing to win in their last nine league matches, and after last Saturday's 5-2 defeat at East End their Manager Ian Thain resigned.  Scott Taylor and Lenny McDonald were due to be in charge for their game against us.

20 Years Ago.       In December `87, our 1st season in the Junior FA, it was announced that "Scottish ; Junior Cup heroes Turriff Utd (Premier Division) and Culter (Division 1) have been named as the ; Bon Accord Glass teams of the month for November. Culter's result in coming from 3-0 down ; early in the 2nd half against Polkemmet to win 5-3 was a truly great achievement, especially when i you consider it was their first ever `Scottish' tie, said selection committee chairman Bryan Keith.
