Annual Awards 2004-2005
Dick Brown Memorial Trophy. Club Vice President and Team
Secretary Doug Grant won this award, presented annually to the member
who has done most for the Club over the past season. Deserved and clear
cut winner Doug won it for his 4th time. He previously won it in
1988/89, 1999/2000 and 2000/2001. Doug Grant
Player of the Year - Larry Barclay Trophy. Roddy Cameron was even
more of a votes winner with his landslide victory. Roddy was our top
scorer, ousting the prolific Toastie from pole position. Roddy had an
outstanding season.

AGM Appointment. At our Annual General Meeting Ronald J Mackay
was proposed and unanimously voted to become one of our select group of
Honorary Vice Presidents in view of his outstanding past service and his
continued loyal support of Culter FC.
Russell's Resumption. Goalkeeper Russell Milne has at last been
able to resume work on 13 July 2005 - over six months since his
horrendous double leg break sustained against Glentanar on Saturday 8
January 2005.
31 Years Ago. On Saturday 3 August 1974 Culter played a Friendly
Match at Crombie Park against Queen's Park. This followed the memorable
5th Round Scottish Amateur Tie at Lesser Hampden when we were pipped 3 -
2 on 23 February 1974. The friendly match resulted in a 4 - 4 draw. The
Referee was George Ritchie and his Linesmen were John Duguid and Bill
Leslie. Our scorer
were Dave Strath, Gary Gauld, Arthur Watt and Ronnie Smith. Our team
was:-
