Yesterday's
Acorn Heating Cup 1st Round Tie against Glentanar due to be played at
Woodside Sports Complex, Aberdeen was postponed due to their snow covered
pitch. This was the third time this season that games against Glentanar were
not fulfilled. Our Superleague match due to be played at Crombie Park on
Saturday 20 Nov 2004 was unexpectedly called off prior to kick off because
Referee Paul Cheyne decided that the pitch was frozen and unplayable. The
Superleague game being played at Woodside Sports Complex on Saturday 8
January 2005 was of course abandoned after 80 minutes following Goalkeeper
Russell Milne's most disappointing double leg break with Glentanar leading 3
- 0. The Acorn Heating Cup Tie has been scheduled to take place next week,
we hope! This match is instead of the Superleague game due against
Stonehaven at Glenury Park on Saturday 26 February 2005.
