Culter School PTA
A Tribute to Morag Anderson
IT WAS with great sadness
that, at the end of the term, we learned of the death of Mrs Morag Anderson, the
learning support teacher at Culter School. Mrs Anderson had worked at Culter for
many years and was regarded with great affection. She worked with all the pupils
at the school and her patience, kindness and support earned her their respect.
She will be remembered fondly by them and by all her colleagues.
Mrs Anderson had fought
courageously against cancer, however her death on July 2nd came as a great
shock. At her funeral in Inverurie a collection of over £2,000 was made in her
name for CLAN, a local cancer charity. Mrs Anderson will be greatly missed at
Culter School and we extend our sympathy and condolences to her family.
Culter School would like
to welcome all Culter folk to the Planning for Real initiative to be held in the
school on Saturday 2nd October from 10am to 1.30pm. A model of Culter village
made by Culter pupils will be on show. This is an opportunity for you, residents
of Culter, to say what facilities vou would like to see established in Culter
for the future.
Members of Aberdeen City
Council will be on hand to discuss your views and ideas. The PTA is planning to
run games and activities during the day to entertain the children in order to
give parents and carers an opportunity to study the plans. It is hoped that teas
will also be available.
