SEPTEMBER sees the church activities beginning once again. The various youth groups commence their activities in the church hall or at the school in the case of the Boys' Brigade and full details can be found on our web site.

Our Young Church caters for children from aged 3 upwards and offers a wide range of activities. It begins by meeting in the church for the first 1520 minutes of the service and then the children go to the hall for activities. Children also take part in family services, in fund raising projects and in our junior Choir. Contact Bob Laing  for more information.

On Sunday evenings, from 6.30pm8pm, we have our Youth Group, Oasis. This is open to all young people from Sl-S4 and again a wide range of activities are offered - there is no requirement to have a church connection. Contact Richard Little  for further information.

Our Guild is open to everyone of all ages (including men!) and meets every second Tuesday from October onwards. Full details can be found from Edna Ledingham. You can also visit our web site at www.culterkirk.co.uk or phone 735845 for more information.

Saturday September 25th at 7pm: the Deeside Choristers will be performing a concert in the church.

Friday October 1 t at 7.30pm: A Silent Auction in the church hall.

From September, Thursday and Saturday morning coffees resume in the small hall of the church. ALL are welcome! Mid week worship takes place every Thursday at 11.30am. This short service is open to all.

The church hall is available during the day for hire by outside organisations and the church itself can be hired out for conferences, meetings etc. The hall is also available for children's birthday parties.

Finally, it has been good to welcome our new assistant minister, Rev. Julie Woods, who will be undertaking her probationary period with us for the next year.

John Ferguson.
