At the presentation
evening, we gave an update on our plans to develop land acquired to the south of
Culter FC Juniors football pitch at Crombie Park, which will provide a permanent
home pitch for Culter Boys Club and give a major boost to community sport on
Lower Deeside.
A company called Castle
Ltd with charitable status has been formed to manage this exciting development
and our next major fund raising event will be a Sporting Dinner at Ardoe House
Hotel on 17th September. Guest speakers will be Jim Leishman, the colourful
football personality and Alistair Ogston Robertson, a senior partner of Burnett
and Reid Advocates in Aberdeen.
This event is open to all
members of the public and tickets cost 640 each or £400 for a table of ten.
These can be reserved by contacting Carol Fowler, by email at
info@prime-promotions.com or any committee member of Culter Boys Club.
