CULTER VILLAGE HALL
CULTER
Village
hall has been closed over the summer holidays, during which time all rooms were
given a good clean and some minor refurbishment was undertaken. It is now ready
for all the activities that will resume in mid August.
Due to the exceptional summer
weather we have enjoyed, the Ross Watt garden has been well used by local
groups. Playgroup and mothers & toddlers were able to take advantage of the
facility and let the youngsters play on the equipment and run around in a safe
environment. The garden is open to all residents of Culter and is a pleasant
place to sit and relax in the sunshine. However, unfortunately, some people have
allowed their dogs to foul in the garden.
This is very disappointing, as
the garden should be a clean area suitable for children and adults. We have had
to put up a sign saying no dogs are allowed in the garden. We hope this will be
adhered to in the future.
The hall reopens on Monday 18th
August. If you wish to book the hall for your group - a party, a roller disco or
simply enquire about activities in the village, please call the hall
administrator, Alison Skinner on 734371. Office hours are
8.30am - 12.30pm
weekdays and
2pm - 4pm
Monday - Thursday. The hall office is closed during the weekends.
