PETERCULTER GOLF CLUB

WE HAVE enjoyed amazing weather summer and Peterculter Golf Club (PGC) has been very busy with outings, opens and lots of fun! competition golf for the members.

The course has developed into one of the best in the North East of Scotland, attracting visitors from all over the region. We have received many complimentary comments about the condition of the course and most of these can be attributed to the hard work put in by Cohn Forbes, the Course Manager, and his team of hardworking greens staff.

The changes made to the course in 2000/2001 have resulted in a challenging, yet golfer friendly, course with inviting fairways and tricky greens. The views over the hills, the river Dee and St Peter’s Church in Culter make this a beautiful golf course for beginners to try out their newly acquired skills, as well as a test for the serious golfer.

PGC is a friendly club with good bar and restaurant facilities. There is an active social side to the club with party nights, BBQs, family golf days and club-organised outings to other courses.

If you are new to the area, or new to golf, then you should consider joining PGC. Currently there is a short waiting list and interested parties who sign up this year are likely to be invited to join in 2004. For more information about the club, you can visit the w e b s i t e www.petercultergolfclub.co.uk or come up to the club and see for yourself.
