CULTER 50 + WALKING GROUP CULTER

ON 19th April we walked again in the Fairy Glen and saw the spring flowers, out in bloom, planted in memory of George Shaw. Memories come flooding back, happy ones too. Our walks in May were to Drumtochty Forest, Boultenstone and Edzell along the River North Esk. This is a lovely walk. We also enjoyed fine weather and of course the company was excellent! These were followed in June, to Glen Tanar and Glen Dye the first being an all time favourite and the second was a good walk but the weather a bit mixed! Rather rough on the feet as the stones seem to have been washed bare of sand.

Would anyone like to join our walking group? Age is not a barrier as we range from 50s to nearly 90s and we have the use of a Mini Bus and cars are always available. We walk every second Thursday throughout the year unless the weather out-does us as in snow storms! If you care to join us please contact me. A warm welcome awaits you.
