PETERCULTER PARISH CHURCH
WE will be launching a new Alpha course in September and everyone is welcome to come along to this. If you are a committed Christian or someone who is highly sceptical about the Christian faith or if you are an experienced churchgoer or someone who is wary about going to church, then Alpha is for you. The 10 week course begins with a supper and includes worship, a talk and a time of discussion. It is very informal and the main aim is to provide a facility for people to explore life's big questions together. There is an information evening on September 19th for those wanting to find out more and the course itself begins on September 26th.
Please remember that the church and halls are available for hire for meetings, conferences, children's parties etc. for most times during the day.
Our organisations are about to start up again after the summer break. We are fortunate in Culter to have strong youth organisations, with the Boys' Brigade for example being one of the largest in Scotland. We also have our Sunday Adventurers group for all children aged 3 and above and this meets every Sunday at 11 a.m. initially in the church. We also have a Seekers Group for young people in SI to S4 and it meets every Sunday evening at 6.30p.m.
