March, CDCA committee held its
annual Cabaret Night. As usual, Culter
Theatre Club provided excellent high quality entertainment. The
hall made
in excess of £1000 and we would
like
to thank Culter Theatre Club for their
willingness to entertain us all
on
the night, and CDCA committee for organising this event and preparing the
food.
Our annual AGM was held on March 19th. We were extremely disappointed with the poor turn out. Over 400 people use the hall every week, but only 9 non-committee members attended the AGM. This is very disappointing for the future of the hall, as without willing support, dedicated committee members, and an interested community, the hall cannot function. On June 3rd, we are holding a Jubilee Garden party in the garden behind the hall. This is open to all. There will be refreshments for a small charge. CULTER VILLAGE HALL JOB VACANCY The Hall has a vacancy for a warden, commencing Sept 2002. Hours: A regular Thursday evening 7 -10pm Additional hours Friday evening and Saturday anytime.
