| OUR Summer Show for 2002 is Three Tales of the Unexpected'
and will be part of the Cui ter Gala Week. A slightly different venture
for Culter Theatre Club, as it is not a musical but three one act plays
with a 'twist'. Culter Theatre Club, as part of the Scottish Community
Drama Association Festival, has performed all three plays at the Art
Centre.
Our junior members perform two of the plays; one is a comedy 'Snippets'
taking place in a hairdressing salon, Sara Mathers, one of our very own
junior members, received an 'Outstanding Achievement Award' at the SCDA
Festival in Aberdeen for writing this original and entertaining play.
The other junior play is a more serious subject 'A Memory of Lizzie'
all about Lizzie Borden, which will definitely have you on the edge of
your seat. The play also won an award 'Best Moment of Theatre' at this
year's SCDA Festival, for two of our Junior Members, Fiona George and
Gemma Milne both of whom were involved in the production of this excellent
play.
Our third performance is by the adult members of Culter Theatre Club
'None the Wiser', a hilarious comedy about a group of nuns who are not
quite what they appear to be.
Don't miss this opportunity to come along and experience a vastly
entertaining evening of uproaring comedy and haunting drama.
