CULTER VILLAGE HALL NEWS
I would like to start by thanking everyone who helped with our jumble sale last year. We made over £750, which was more than we had hoped for. The money has been spent already on new chairs for the lounge area, which is now a much more attractive space for all hall users. We were lucky enough to receive a donation from Culter Theatre Club to finish the upgrading of the lounge area, and before long we will have new carpeting and the walls will have been given a fresh coat of paint- Our thanks to the Theatre Club for enabling us to get on with the refurbishment programme.
On 16 March CDCA committee will be holding its annual Cabaret Night, As usual, Culter Theatre Club will provide high quality entertainment. The evening consists of a two-course supper, with complimentary cocktail, and a variety of sketches and musical numbers from members of the theatre club. You can book your table for this event, at a cost of £25 per couple, from Alison Skinner.
All hall activities are now back to normal after the Christmas break, but don't forget, if you want to book the hall for your function, please call Alison. We have had weddings, ceilidhs, birthday parties, sales of work and many other functions.
