CULTS CRICKET CLUB

IT is coming up to that time of year again to dig your kit out of the loft, oil your bat, whiten your pads and attempt to fit into your whites.   It must be CRICKET.

Cults Cricket Club is starting to stir from its winter slumbers and is drawing   its collective thoughts towards indoor nets and - horror of horrors - outdoor nets. Indoor nets are being arranged, please visit our web site during February for full details. Outdoor nets start at Allan Park Stadium on Saturday 30th March 2002- Usual pre-season kit required, thermals and wellies. Again full derails will be posted on the web site-

With Season 2002 due to start on Saturday 27th April, pre-season nets and fitness (sic) are essential. Both senior Xls will start on that day so our playing resources will be stretched. The 1st XI, Grade 1 holders, have it all to do again. It does not get any easier. The 2nd XI, after last year's glory and double winning season, have a tough season coming up in Grade 3.

All existing players are welcomed back. It has been a pleasure to see Culler lads playing and enjoying their cricket at Cults. If any potential players within the Culter Courier circulation area wish to play cricket, please contact the club at the numbers below-Junior cricketers also will be made more than welcome. Cults will be entering an under 13 side in the local league to be played on Mondays and occasional Wednesdays. For older boys we will again join with Banchory and Stonehaven for games. Primary school boys and girls will continue with Kwik Cricket on Friday nights. Come along - it is very good fun.
