DEESIDE CHORISTERS
AFTER a hectic Christmas/ season, with, Carol Services in Old Aberdeen and New Pitsligo, we look forward to interesting music in the Easter term, all to be sung at St John's Church, St John's Terrace (off Crown Street, Aberdeen).
The programme is as follows:
February 3 at 3pm:A Festival of Light (Candlemas)
February 10 at 6.30pm Choral Evensong, including a first performance of 'Hamilton in D' Magnificat - recently composed.
March Sat 6.30pm Compline (Gregorian Chant)
March 24 at 6.30pm LENTEN IMAGES, featuring music by Bach, Purcell, Handel and Mendelssohn, We hope to sing 'Hear My Prayer' by the latter composer.
