EASTLEIGH CARE CENTRE

I AM pleased to announce that we have a new manager at Eastleigh. Ms. Glynis Scott joined us at the end of February and has already held two relatives' meetings: the first being a Cheese and Wine party to welcome her. These meetings are very important for all concerned and I would encourage you, if you are a relative, to attend.

Spring has arrived and already our residents have been out in our bus to the countryside to see new lambs, calves, bunnies and, of course, the beauty of the spring flowers.

At Easter time we had an Easter Bonnet competition which was great fun. Lavina Patterson won the best lady's bonnet and John Davidson the best man's. Both are from Cutter and well known to many.

What are you doing on Saturday, 21st May 2005, between 2pm and 4 pm? Coming along to Eastleigh Care Centre May Fayre, I hope. This will be an afternoon to remember. There will be a variety of stalls, lots of fun for children of all ages and, of course, Afternoon Tea - a must at a bargain price of £1.50 per adult and 75p per child. Posters advertising the event are on display throughout the village and printed Raffle Tickets are also available. Donations for
