With so much else going on, it was a relief to find there was nothing controversial in the planning applications over the last few months.

At the time of writing this, there has been no feedback on the proposal, to which CCC had objected, to turn Rob Roy Caravan Park into a housing estate. (See last Courier)

There are no new developments yet either on the Local Plan. At the Development Plan Sub-Committee meeting on 3rd March officials said they were now ready to discuss/negotiate all the objections with those who had objected to see how many could be withdrawn before a list was compiled for a Public Enquiry. This must still be continuing - there were, after all, over 7,000 objections!
