NURSERY WOODLAND GARDEN PROJECT UPDATE

HAVING done some successful fundraisers, especially our Christmas evening, which raised over £700, (big thank you to everyone who supported us) we are now able to erect the remainder of the fencing, which is being done as this article is written. This is an enormous step for the garden as we will now have a safe and secure place at last. The necessary trees have also been cut back and made safe. Once work is completed the "fun" can start with clearing the area of all the rubble and rubbish. Any helpers that have come forward to offer help will be contacted soon. We would be happy to hear from anyone else who is willing to lend a hand - clearing the area will not be an easy task; loan of equipment or helpful advice would be appreciated.

Obviously we will need to keep up our fundraising efforts so there will be a small fundraiser for the nursery parents in the form of filling up a smartie tube with small change - 5p's or 20p's are ideal.

We are also planning another Spring/ Easter evening in the nursery. This is scheduled for Thursday 10th March at 7.30pm, with flower arranging, card making and silk glass painting demonstrations, and the usual raffle and tea/coffee and home bakes.
