Peterculter Golf Club

THE 2005 golf season starts on Saturday 26th March with the Captain versus Vice Captain competition and is followed by a Mixed Opening Competition on Sunday 27th March. We look forward to seeing all our members back on the course and coming in with great scores!

Over the winter period

the greens staff have been very busy making improvements to the course.

• Work on the new 8th hole is going well;

•work has continued on the new ladies' tee box for the 16th hole;

• drainage systems to help ease the problem of boggy areas;

• some bunkers have disappeared;

• steps have been built into steep sided tee boxes.

The weather has been kind to us and the winter program has progressed well.

We held several successful social events during the winter months, including Halloween and Christmas discos, quiz nights, whist nights and the ever popular 2nd January hangover golf fun day.
