Camphill School News
FOLLOWING the success of our Open Day in September we are planning a Spring
Fayre on Palm Sunday, 20th March, with an Easter theme. Final arrangements are
currently in the making so watch out for adverts and notices appearing locally.
We are hoping to link our Fayre to Peterculter Church Palm Sunday Service with
our Donkeys leading the way from the church down to Camphill Estate. This is
dependant on a number of things, not least us getting insurance cover. The Fayre
would then be from Midday to 3pm. We are looking forward very much to this and
hope that technical difficulties will not get in the way and that the sun shines
on the day.
Otherwise of local interest will be the establishing of our Amber Kindergarten
in Murtle and our link with the Culter Satellite Group for 35 year olds who use
our premises some afternoons.
Finally some of you will have noticed the building work going on as you walk
down to the river at Pittengullies. This, and the two other building activities
on the Estate, will enable us to extend our therapeutic work while at the same
time offering us the possibility to retain more of our BA graduates, which in
turn will enhance our general work and the service we offer.
I look forward to seeing many of you on Palm Sunday.
