Heritage Trust
ST PETER'S HERITAGE CENTRE
THE Heritage Trust held
their AGM on 16th September and the meeting endorsed all the developments which
had taken place over the previous 12 months. Membership continues to grow which
is really encouraging as the Heritage Centre does play an important part in the
life of Culter.
Teas and coffees, served
in the Hall on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, are still being well supported
and the committee values the volunteers who give of their time and effort to
provide the much appreciated home baking.
Only for the month of
January are there no teas and coffees. On Sunday afternoon 19th December, our
resident music group, Scotch Broth, will be playing Christmas carols and the
committee will be supplying mince pies and mulled wine- do come along .
The Trust is always
looking for more exhibits relating to Culter and district. If you consider that
you would like to lend or donate an item, please contact Allan Pennie. Remember
the Heritage Centre is for the community - not just the committee.
The Hall is being
reasonably well used but we would very much welcome daytime use. If you would
like more information contact John Troup - Tel: 01224 732701
