Guiding in Culter

OVER THE last year, the girls have been taking part in fund raising activities for a National fund raising campaign "the Big G". This is to raise money for guiding in Scotland- and also to actively promote guiding in the community.

Culter girls have held a Coffee morning and took part in a Sponsored walk along the old railway line.

There are many more activities we can take part in over the next months.

Our next project is as part of Culter in Bloom. Many years ago a Trefoil of crocuses were planted outside the church but as the years have passed, there are fewer plants showing so we are replanting the trefoil. Hopefully by the time you are reading this we will have spent a productive Saturday morning planting 2000 bulbs.

All our Units are working well but the Guides urgently need more adult help.

There is a very large waiting list of girls who will not get into Guides unless we can find adult help.
