CULTER PLAYGROUP

I WOULD like to start by thanking everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre in November. It was a successful event and provided a boost to funds.

Playgroup enjoyed a busy December making wonderful festive crafts and rehearsing Christmas songs. All our groups enjoyed Christmas parties with a visit from Santa. Our Group 1 and Rising 5 children performed the Festive Play and all groups sang like angels!

The children have been learning about the 5 senses in recent weeks. They made some funky tinted glasses and some groovy shakers.

Much fun was had at Playgroup in January when we celebrated with a Burns' Supper.

The children sang Scottish songs, danced an Eight-some Reel, ate shortbread and provided a good show of tartan.

Do we have any pre-school children looking for some fun on a Tuesday afternoon (1 pm to 3.30 pm)? Our Rising 5 group could be the place for you. We also have some places available in Group 2 (available to children from age 2 1/2 years). Please contact Playgroup for further details

Playgroup life continues to be an excellent environment for our children and thanks to the support of our local community during difficult financial times last year we look forward to a more secure future. We will be organising further events in the near future - watch out locally for further details.
