VILLAGE HALL NEWS
THE
PTA has had a successful school year so far organising a variety of events. The
usual Bingo Nights continue to be very well supported by the community and back
in November a family ceilidh was held. This was great fun and the children
enjoyed showing off their Scottish dancing skills.
The
committee decided to have a change this year instead of the usual Spring Fair
and so on Saturday 20 March the school will be holding a 'Noisy Fun Day &
Silent Auction'.
We
are looking for donations for the auction and also for pledges - if you haven't
any unwanted gifts you'd like to donate, then why not consider donating
*'Two
hours of ironing', •'A car wash session, or *'Cooking a dinner for two'.
These
are only examples - the pledges could cover a huge variety of skills. We will
serve teas with homebaking in the canteen.
A
raffle and games for the children will also, be a big attraction.
So
put Saturday 20 March in your diary and if you have a donation in mind contact
the school office.
