EASTLEIGH CARE CENTRE

RESIDENTS and staff are recovering from a hectic time over the festive season. This time we went to a special Shopping Event in the Bon-Accord Shopping Centre,visited Cocker's Garden Centre to see the reindeer and had many local entertainers to add to the festive cheer. Our Christmas party was a great success with a visit from Santa.

Prior to Christmas we held a most successful Silent Auction. This raised in excess of £400. Everyone who attended enjoyed the occasion and we look forward to the next one on November 12th 2004 in Eastleigh.

Talking of diary dates, I'd like to give you prior notice of two important events;

The first is a QUIZ on FRIDAY 27th FEBRUARY 2004. Further details may be obtained from me at the CENTRE.

Our major fund raising event will be our MAY FAYRE on SATURDAY 15TH MAY 2004 from 2-4pm. All the usual stalls, teas and entertainment for children will be there. Look out for details later.

One other important event will be the celebration of one of our residents 100th Birthday. This will be in April and we are all planning a special event for a wonderful lady.

Once again thank you to everyone in Culter and beyond for their loyal and generous support. It is much appreciated. I look forward to seeing you at our forthcoming events.
