CULTS CRICKET CLUB
IT IS now February 2004 and you may wonder why you are
reading an article on Cults Cricket Club!!!! No your correspondent is not
kidding, the 2004
cricket season is just round the corner.
Pre-season
practice of indoor and outdoor nets and matches are in the process of being
finalised. Please consult the website for full details.
By the time you read this the Annual General Meeting will have been completed and the 2004 Office Bearers appointed.
So
far the winter weather has been mild and not too wet and Bill Davidson has
informed me that the Allan Park, especially the square, is in good nick. Work on
the ground starts at the end of March in preparation for the 2004 season, which
starts Saturday 24th April.
As
can be seen for those involved with Cults CC, work never seems to stop. Cults CC
are no different from all amateur clubs in the North-east in having a small
squad of players of both seniors
and
juniors and require more players. If you are interested in playing or watching
