BLUE DOOR CHARITY SHOP
THE Friends of Camphill Medical Practice are looking for volunteers to help to staff their new Charity Shop at Newton Dee. Called 'The Blue Door', we sell all kinds of pre-owned goods as well as having a gallery of work by local artists, and crafts made by our own Craft Group.
At
present we are open from 10am until 4pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday but we
would like to extend this to include a Wednesday. This means that we hope to
recruit volunteers to cover the two "shifts" on Wednesdays (10am to
1pm and 1pm to 4pm) and we would also welcome more staff on Thursday, Friday and
Saturday mornings.
Our
Manager, Douglas Anderson, would be delighted to hear from you if you can spare
a few hours on a regular basis or if you can be available to "cover"
for other absences. You can contact him at the shop (tel. 861830) when open, or

Our
premises are just off Old Ferry Road, on the way to the Newton Dee Store and
Coffee Shop. We aim to stock good quality goods at reasonable prices and we have
a tremendous stock at present. Of course, we also welcome donations of good
quality clothes, books, toys, brica-brac etc - in fact, anything except
electrical goods and children's safety equipment (such as car seats) which we
are not allowed to sell!
