CULTER VILLAGE HALL NEWS

ON Saturday 15th March CDCA committee held its annual Cabaret Night. It was a very successful event, much enjoyed by all those who attended. Our thanks to the members of Culter Theatre Club who provided us with first class entertainment, and a big thank you to all the hard workers on the hail committee who served up an excellent buffet supper. The evening raised almost ül000 for hall funds. Our rainy day account is still much depleted after the roof replacement, but the proceeds from the cabaret evening will help us in our efforts to protect the hall and its user groups from unforeseen expenditure required to keep the hall functioning in a safe and reliable manner. The annual AGM of the vifiage hall was held on Monday 17th March. Despite the fact that this meeting is open to all residents of Peterculter, it was very poorly attended and we only just managed a quorum. Hall rental charges were increased in line with inflation and all user groups have been informed.

The hall was closed over the Easter break but all activities are back up and running now.
