The 47th are now looking forward to their Summer Activities which will see the Pipe Band travel all over the Country taking part in the annual RSPBA Piping Championships. The Band also are looking forward to their return to the Stromness Shopping Week, Orkney, in July which has always been a most enjoyable and worthwhile trip for the boys.
This past month has seen an all-new Parents Committee appointed to take care of the fundraising for the Pipe Band organisation. Already many exciting, profitable money-spinning efforts are being organised this season boosting our funds greatly - our thanks go to Greg Reid and his dedicated team, and of course to the people of the Peterculter area who continually support our efforts.
The Band will be receiving their long- awaited new Ties shortly, this was the only outstanding part of uniform not replaced a few years ago when the Band purchased new kilts, jackets and waistcoats.
The Boys are already looking forward to their annual Summer Camp this year. Dates are detailed once again below for your diaries:

Hopefully, by the time the next issue of the Courier is issued we will have confirmed exciting news on our proposed purpose-built BBHQ plans for the village.
