GRANITE CITY CHORUS

THE Granite City Chorus was founded twelve years ago and has a membership of 25.

We sing unaccompanied four-part harmony barbershop style. The members are from all walks of life and most had no musical skill before joining. Songs sung by the chorus range from early 20th century American to religious anthems to folk music and modern songs. The chorus is male only with females having the opportunity to sing with the Sweet Adelines Chorus.

There are four voice parts which are base, baritone, lead and tenor. We entertain throughout the city with appearances at shows, festivals and other musical events.

We are always looking for new members and on Tuesday evenings we meet at the Croft Tavern, Stockethill Crescent , Aberdeen at 7.30pm . If you sing to yourself or along to music and can hold a note, you will be sure of a big welcome from our members.
