EASTLEIGH NURSING HOME

RESIDENTS and staff at Eastleigh are recovering from a hectic time over the festive season. The residents were taken to see the Christmas lights and enjoy a festive Bar Supper. They visited Cocker's Garden Centre and enjoyed Afternoon Tea; some attended a pantomime at Harlaw Academy and, of course, they had their Christmas Party with Santa and musical entertainment.

Prior to Christmas, we held a most successful Silent Auction. We raised a substantial sum which, along with the proceeds from a very successful Christmas Prize Draw, enabled us to give the residents the type of Christmas they deserve. Another Silent Auction is scheduled for Friday

14 February 2003 so do try to come along. (Editor: some people will be reading this after 14 February and will have missed the event!)

Make a note in diaries of these two important dates: the first is a Quiz on Friday 28 February. Further details may be obtained from me at the Home. Our major fundraising event will be our MAY FAYRE on Saturday 17 May from 2-4pm . All the usual stalls, tea, and entertainment for children, will be there. Look out for details later.

Thanks again to you all for the generous way you all support Eastleigh . This is much appreciated. I look forward to seeing you at our forthcoming events.
