PETERCULTER OAPS
OUR Sale of Work, held on Saturday 6 October, was a great success when we made the marvellous sum of over £2,000.
I thank everyone who helped in any way: all the workers on the day, both at stalls, raffles, and tea tables; farmers, shopkeepers and pub owners who gave so generously for the big raffle and vegetable stall.
Important dates coming up in December:
12th -concert by the Culter Theatre Club
15th -Coffee Morning (Supper Room at the Hall)
19th -Christmas Party for members (6.30pm at the Mill Club)
The Gordon Arms Hotel will provide the meal which will be followed by dancing to Charlie Kidd.
It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of another year but I wish all our members a very happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous 2002.
