STEVE DAVIDSON (GALA)

FOR many years, Steve Davidson has served the community of Culter - usually in the background but in a very practical way. The Gala would not be on such a secure grounding if it was not for him.

Steve undertook the onerous duties of Chair of the Gala Committee on the untimely death of Ross Watt. It is not an easy task, however Steve fulfilled the post very well. Especially he was there on Gala Day when many things had to be done on the School Field - helping to put out the necessary equipment and, more importantly, seeing that everything was picked up afterwards to leave the school field clear. I'm sure many people were glad to have a chair to sit down on to watch the parade.

There is always much to organise for Gala events and it to Steve's credit that everything flowed so that people were unaware of the many hitches that were possible.

Our thanks to Steve - he will be greatly missed.
