Rotary Club of Aberdeen, Deeside

ROTARY clubs, always keen to support local youngsters, run numerous events both in and out of schools. Recently four pupils at present at Cults Academy attended a Leadership and Motivation weekend sponsored by the Rotary Club of Aberdeen Deeside and held at Elmwood College.

Two of the pupils attending recently visited a Rotary meeting to advise members on the benefits they had derived from their weekend. Pictured below are Katy Simpson and Zack Daines with Ian Reid, Depute Head of Cults Academy, and Norman Paterson, Convener of the Club's Vocational and Youth Committee.

Well-known Culter resident, Anne Russell, has just completed her year in office as President and has been succeeded by Douglas Nisbet, a senior lecturer at Robert Gordon's University.

The Rotary Club of Aberdeen Deeside meets on a Wednesday evening (6.15pm for 6.45pm) in the Cults Hotel and visitors are always welcome.
