12pm till 3pm on Sunday 1st October 2006 I AM pleased that there is going to be another Open Day at the Village Hall this year. It will take place on Sunday 1st October from 12pm till 3pm. The event will provide groups with an opportunity to recruit new members and raise awareness of their activities. L,ast year, groups provided displays and some provided demonstrations. Many people found the day very informative and the demonstrations were popular and entertaining. As part of the Neighbourhood Community Planning process. I will be there to discuss any local issues that people would like to raise and provide feedback on the Neighbourhood Community Action Plan. As time moves on and many issues raised during the Neighbourhood Community Planning exercises that took place in 2004 and 2005 are dealt with and problems resolved, new ones emerge. In order to keep the Action Plan up to date, I need to know what the new and emerging issues in the Culter area are. If there is something that you would like to raise, come along and tell me about it. One of the biggest issues at the moment is the AWPR and information about the route and the impact of the road will be available. You will also be able to find out about the work being carried out into what young people would like locally.
