Home Up

47th Aberdeen (Culter) Co.

BOYS' Brigade has restarted after the Christmas break and the boys are again enjoying their Thursday nights. The last BB night before the break saw the Anchor boys and the Junior Section have a joint Christmas party in the school with lots of games, fun and refreshments.

The Company section enjoyed a night of tenpin bowling and a go on the dodgems

at Sunset Boulevard followed by a feast at Pizza Hut.

We have a couple of new helpers in the Anchor Boys, so thanks to them for helping us out on a Thursday night. John Grant who had been with the Anchor Boys and Company Section has had to give up due to his new job. Thanks to John for his efforts over the last few years and the best of luck with the new job.

You may have noticed our old Headquarters has been sitting empty since Neil Selbie & Co. moved to their own, new premises on Station Brae. We have just agreed to lease the shop to The Barbers Pole Ltd who will be taking over at the end of January and are hoping to open by the end of March. We wish them all the best in their new premises. Any boys interested in joining the Boys’ Brigade are most welcome and can come along any Thursday night to see what it'; all about.
