Your Culter

`Your Culter' was an opportunity for local people to see what's on offer in and around the village by way of clubs, activities etc.

Feedback from some of the participating groups, and visitors, has been mainly positive, but there is room for improvement- more extensive advertising beforehand would have brought more folk through the door.

As the one who tentatively mooted the idea, may I say a big THANK YOU to those who carried `Your Culter' forward to become a real event and to all of those who came together on the day to highlight their wares, give advice and demonstrations. A special thanks to Alison Skinner for her time and help in allowing us to use the Village Hall.

We are planning to have a similar event next year so please get in touch with any ideas or comments you may have:

P .S. The Rotary Club, in conjunction with Aberdeen City Council, is in the process of compiling a booklet listing all the clubs etc. in Culter; these should appear in the not too distant future. Keep a lookout in the library
