Culter Village Hall News

WE would like to take this opportunity to remind residents of the village that Culter Village Hall receives no financial aid from Aberdeen City Council and we rely on the generosity of other groups and our own fund raising activities to maintain the standard of service and amenity we can offer to user groups. We endeavour to keep our rental charges as low as possible to benefit all community users, but this means we have nothing left over for repairs and up-grading.

In October, Culter Village Hall hosted a successful "Your Culter" day, which had been organised by Culter Community Council to inform members of our community about the activities available for them.

The hall runs Kindergym classes on Wednesdays throughout the school terms for children aged 18 months to 4 years. We can also organise bouncy castle parties and roller disco parties, so if you would like to arrange one for your child, please contact Alison Skinner on 734371. Our rates are extremely competitive!

The hall will be closed for Christmas from Wednesday 21st December to Wednesday 4th January inclusive. Anyone who needs to contact the hall during that period may leave a message on the answerphone, but please be aware that it will not be dealt with until Wednesday 4th January 2006.

We wish all our community group users a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Susan Chappell-Smith President.
