Community Playgroup

PLAYGROUP is back in full swing after the holidays and our new committee is busy planning the fund-raising calendar for the coming year.

Our first event is the annual Christmas Fayre on 26th November at the Village Hall from l0am till lpm. This promises to be a fun packed morning for all the family. There will be lots to do including • a children's beauty salon:

• you can make a decoration;

• see if you can score a goal against Santa;

• try to find the treasure at the North Pole.

There will also be all the old favourites like the bottle stall, lucky dip and home baking as well as stalls selling gifts, hand made cards, jewellery and second hand books and toys.

• Entry will be £2 for adults and 50p for children (includes tea/coffee and delicious home baking) so we hope to see you all there.

In March we will be holding a Coffee Morning when there will be a Grand Raffle with fantastic prizes. Look out for parents selling tickets.

The playgroup relies on its fund-raising each year to buy new equipment and pay for outings and activities for the children so please support us by coming along to our events and have some fun while contributing to your community.
