Culter Boys' Football Club

ON Thursday 26th May we ran the annual Gala 5-a-side football tournament. This was very well supported with over 30 teams, including girls, and over 500 spectators. We finally cleared the School Pitch about llpm!

On Wednesday 8th June we held our annual trophy presentation evening. Due to the rapid expansion of the club to over 300, we needed a larger venue and Cults Academy fitted the bill perfectly. Darren Mackie presented the awards with Dave McDermid doing his usual excellent job as compere. In view of the Gala being cancelled, the winning teams were invited along to be presented with their trophies.

Congratulations to lain Anderson's Under 19s on winning the Frank Waugh Memorial Trophy, our only silverware this year. Enjoy your "retirement" lain.

THE under 10's section of Culter Boys Club are holding football trials at Culter Primary School Pitches on Sunday 20th August 2005 at 1.30pm.
